Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification or state licensure as a School Psychologist
- Masters or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Strong knowledge of psychological and educational assessments, interventions, and counseling techniques
- Familiarity with IEP processes and special education regulations
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, working effectively with students, staff, and families
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide one-on-one and small group counseling to support students social-emotional well-being
- Assist educators and families in developing strategies for student success in the classroom
- Deliver crisis intervention and consult on behavioral management as needed
- Stay informed on best practices in school psychology and maintain ethical standards of practice
