Job Description

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid certification or state licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Masters or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Strong knowledge of psychological and educational assessments, interventions, and counseling techniques
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and special education regulations
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, working effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special services
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide one-on-one and small group counseling to support students social-emotional well-being
  • Assist educators and families in developing strategies for student success in the classroom
  • Deliver crisis intervention and consult on behavioral management as needed
  • Stay informed on best practices in school psychology and maintain ethical standards of practice
