A full-time opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to provide specialized support within a unique educational setting in Olympia, WA. This role involves working onsite at a local correctional facility, supporting incarcerated youth through comprehensive psychological services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and re-evaluations to identify students educational and psychological needs.
- Collaborate effectively with the IEP support team to develop and implement individualized education plans.
- Provide direct support and interventions tailored for youth in a correctional environment.
- Maintain compliance with all state licensing requirements and facility protocols.
- Pass a stringent background check to meet facility security standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State School Psychologist license.
- Experience or willingness to work with youth in a correctional setting.
- Strong skills in psychological assessment and IEP development.
- Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics.
Location: Olympia, Washington (onsite work within a correctional facility)
Work Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
