Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid license as a School Psychologist (or eligibility for state certification)
  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field required
  • Previous experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
  • Strong communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in administering and interpreting a range of psychoeducational assessments
  • Compassionate approach to student well-being and learning

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
  • Provide counseling services to support students social, emotional, and behavioral health
  • Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) processes
  • Offer crisis intervention and consultation on behavior management
  • Assist with data collection and progress monitoring to guide student supports
  • Contribute to professional development for school personnel on best practices in student mental health and learning
