Job Description
Empower students and educators by providing comprehensive psychological services in a dynamic school environment. As a key member of a supportive educational team, you will be instrumental in fostering academic, emotional, and social success for students through intervention, consultation, and assessment.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain a School Psychologist credential
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Expertise in developing and implementing evidence-based interventions
- Ability to provide crisis intervention and counseling services to students
- Exceptional communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and administrators
- Strong organizational abilities and adaptability to work across different grade levels
- Enthusiasm for collaborating within a multidisciplinary setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer psychoeducational assessments for eligibility and program planning
- Develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide group and individual counseling to address a range of student concerns
- Consult with teachers and staff to offer strategies that enhance student learning and behavior
- Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) initiatives
- Assist in crisis prevention and response for student or school-wide needs
- Engage parents and guardians as active partners in their childs education
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold ethical and legal standards
