Qualifications:
- Masters degree in School Psychology or closely related field required
- Valid Michigan (MI) school psychologist licensure
- Experience working with elementary, middle, or high school populations preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators and families
- Excellent communication and organization abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to address student learning and behavioral needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and help guide the development of educational plans
- Deliver individual and group counseling to students as appropriate
- Support crisis intervention efforts and implement programs to improve behavior and academic performance
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
