Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in K-12 educational environments preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school staff
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive school communities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to inform academic and behavioral interventions
- Provide direct counseling and support to students individually and in group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral plans
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and provide expert recommendations for student success
- Support crisis intervention efforts and contribute to a positive school climate
- Maintain detailed and confidential records in accordance with school and district policies
