Job Description
A contract position is available for a School Psychologist supporting K-12 students in Norwalk, CT. This role requires in-person assessments and active participation in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings across multiple school settings. Flexibility with caseloads is essential, as needs may shift throughout the school year, with potential travel between schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for K-12 students.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, counselors, and administrators.
- Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings to support individualized student plans.
- Adapt to changing caseloads and school needs with a flexible approach.
- Travel between various school locations as required to fulfill duties.
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology.
- Eligibility for state licensure or certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- New graduates with relevant training and internship experience are encouraged to apply.
