Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in School Psychology or a closely related field (required)
  • Valid and active Nevada School Psychologist license (required)
  • Proven ability to serve diverse student populations in elementary, middle, and high school settings
  • Strong skills in evaluation, assessment, and individualized education planning (IEP)
  • Collaborative mindset for working with teachers, administrators, parents, and other support staff
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Commitment to supporting students academic, social, and emotional needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions
  • Consult with faculty, families, and multidisciplinary teams to address student learning and behavioral needs
  • Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and recommendations for classroom modifications or accommodations
  • Support student social-emotional development through direct and indirect services
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to confidentiality protocols
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and school meetings
