Desired Qualifications:

• Hold an active Florida Department of Health (DOH) License as a School Psychologist
• Proven experience in psychological assessment, intervention, and counseling in educational settings
• Strong communication and consultation skills with students, staff, and parents
• Adept at developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention strategies
• Knowledge of state and federal special education laws and ethical standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluate students to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop interventions and support plans
• Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services for students as needed
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, including IEP meetings and student support teams
• Support the implementation of school-wide psychological programs that foster healthy, positive learning environments
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
