Desired Qualifications:
- Hold an active Florida Department of Health (DOH) License as a School Psychologist
- Proven experience in psychological assessment, intervention, and counseling in educational settings
- Strong communication and consultation skills with students, staff, and parents
- Adept at developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention strategies
- Knowledge of state and federal special education laws and ethical standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluate students to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop interventions and support plans
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services for students as needed
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, including IEP meetings and student support teams
- Support the implementation of school-wide psychological programs that foster healthy, positive learning environments
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
