Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Holds a valid Maryland School Psychologist License
  • Experience evaluating, counseling, and supporting K-12 students a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
  • Capable of organizing and managing multiple priorities
  • Passion for fostering inclusive and positive school climates

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological assessment, counseling, and consultation for students in grades K-12
  • Interpret assessment results and develop individualized interventions or recommendations
  • Collaborate closely with educators and families to promote student growth and well-being
  • Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary teams
  • Support crisis prevention, behavioral intervention plans, and social-emotional learning initiatives
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with federal, state, and school guidelines
