Essential Qualifications:
- Masters or specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid and current state licensure as a School Psychologist (or in process)
- Knowledge of assessment tools and counseling methods for diverse student populations
- Expertise in developing and implementing IEPs, 504 Plans, and behavioral interventions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with families, teachers, and school staff
- Commitment to ethical standards and fostering a supportive school climate
- Previous experience in schools preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological and academic evaluations and interpret results for K-12 students
- Design and monitor effective interventions to promote individual student progress
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address students academic, emotional, and social needs
- Maintain detailed records in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to families and educators
- Act as an advocate for student well-being and positive school culture
