Support the growth and development of students in a welcoming educational environment as a school psychologist on a contract basis. Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to help students overcome challenges, achieve academic success, and foster their social-emotional well-being. Qualifications To Bring:
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
- Valid state credential or license as a school psychologist
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and IEP procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Skilled in data-driven decision making and documentation
- Commitment to supporting a diverse and inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic assessments to identify students needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective intervention and support plans
- Participate in special education eligibility determination and IEP meetings
- Provide crisis intervention and consultative services as needed
- Assist in designing and implementing behavioral management plans
- Serve as a resource to staff and parents regarding child development and learning strategies
- Maintain thorough and confidential records in compliance with regulations
