Step into a vital role supporting students' success as a School Psychologist. This contract position begins August 3, 2026, and runs through June 7, 2027, serving K-12 students in a district-wide setting near Anderson, IN. With 35 hours per week and choices of two full-time schedules (8:50-3:30 or 7:30-2:20), youll have the rewarding opportunity to impact young learners onsite.
In this position, youll work closely with students, educators, and families to promote academic, social, and emotional development. Caseload size will be based on school needs, ensuring varied, meaningful interactions throughout the district.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification
- Previous experience in a K-12 educational environment preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities
- Collaborative mindset and flexibility to serve district-wide as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and write comprehensive reports
- Develop and support implementation of IEPs and 504 plans
- Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and parents
- Deliver direct and indirect support to students related to behavior, learning, crisis intervention, and mental health
- Promote inclusivity and evidence-based practices within the school system
- Participate in intervention teams and advocate for students needs
