Key Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Michigan School Psychologist certificate or Preliminary School Psychologist certificate.
• Possess a Masters or ED.S. degree in School Psychology.
• Experience conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and implementing strategies with elementary-aged children is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with a commitment to holistic student development.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess students cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs using a variety of standardized tools.
• Design and implement evidence-based intervention plans to support student growth.
• Consult with school staff and parents to interpret assessment data and develop strategies tailored to individual needs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Advocate for a positive, inclusive school climate that ensures student safety and learning success.
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state requirements.
