This full-time (or part-time, if preferred) position spans the 2026/2027 school year, focusing primarily on elementary-aged students across two school sites. Key Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Michigan School Psychologist certificate or Preliminary School Psychologist certificate.
- Possess a Masters or ED.S. degree in School Psychology.
- Experience conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and implementing strategies with elementary-aged children is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with a commitment to holistic student development.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs using a variety of standardized tools.
- Design and implement evidence-based intervention plans to support student growth.
- Consult with school staff and parents to interpret assessment data and develop strategies tailored to individual needs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Advocate for a positive, inclusive school climate that ensures student safety and learning success.
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state requirements.
