A contract position is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to support a dynamic K-12 educational environment in Niagara Falls, NY. This opportunity involves working directly with students, educators, and families to provide essential psychological services and support academic and social-emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person psychological assessments for students across K-12 grade levels.
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings, contributing professional insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, administrators, and support staff, to develop and implement strategies that support student success.
- Manage a flexible caseload that may change based on the evolving needs of different school locations.
- Travel between schools as necessary to deliver consistent and comprehensive services.
Preferred Qualifications / Experience:
- Degree in School Psychology or a related field; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and varying school environments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Commitment to student well-being with a professional, empathetic approach.
- Experience or willingness to conduct in-person assessments and participate in IEP meetings.
Location:
Niagara Falls, NY travel between multiple schools within the district is required.
