Job Description

A School Psychologist position is available to support an elementary school in the Niagara Falls, NY area. This contract role for the current school year offers an opportunity to work with a diverse range of students and collaborate closely with educational staff to support student success.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for elementary students.
  • Develop and implement individualized interventions to support academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and develop action plans.

Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure.
  • Experience working with elementary school-aged children.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage an elementary caseload effectively within school hours.

Location and Schedule:

  • Position located in Niagara Falls, NY.
  • Elementary school setting.
  • Work hours from 8:35 AM to 3:35 PM.
  • Contract duration: Current School Year (CSY).
