Job Description

A full-time School Psychologist position is available to support a K-12 public school in Newport, Tennessee for the 2025-2026 academic year. This contract role offers the opportunity to collaborate within a dedicated team of psychologists, providing comprehensive evaluative and supportive services for students enrolled in the special education program.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting re-evaluations, initial evaluations, and assessments of students within the IEP program
  • Participating actively on IEP and special education teams to develop and implement individualized education plans for K-12 students
  • Collaborating with fellow psychologists to manage a full student caseload effectively
  • Providing onsite psychological services to support student learning and well-being

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Tennessee School Psychologist license is required
  • Experience supporting K-12 students within a school setting
  • Strong knowledge of special education law and assessment tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Location and Hours:

  • Onsite position based in Newport, Tennessee
  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Contract for the full 2025-2026 school year
