Job Description
We are seeking three dedicated Special Education Teachers for a summer contract in the Newport, NH area. This is a great opportunity to support students during the Extended School Year (ESY) program in a part-time, morning-only capacity.
Assignment Details
Duration: July 6 July 31, 2026.
Schedule: Monday through Thursday.
Hours: 8:00 AM 12:00 PM (Part-time).
Openings: 3 positions available.
Location: On-site in Newport, NH.
Key Responsibilities
Provide specialized instruction and support to students during the ESY term.
Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) to prevent academic and behavioral regression.
Monitor student progress and maintain organized documentation.
Qualifications
Experience: Must have previous experience working in a school setting.
Licensure: Active New Hampshire Special Education Teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain).
Adaptability: Comfort working with varied caseloads as specific details are finalized.
