An exceptional opportunity awaits for a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist for a full-time contract role for the 2026-2027 academic year, working with K-8 students. This position offers the chance to provide meaningful psychological evaluations, supporting student success and well-being in an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct approximately 60-80 psychological evaluations per year, focused solely on psych testing (no educational testing required).
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to interpret assessment results and support student growth.
- Develop clear and actionable reports based on assessment findings.
- Participate as an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team to inform educational and behavioral strategies.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state guidelines and confidentiality requirements.
- Uphold ethical and professional standards as set forth by licensure and school policies.
Qualifications Sought:
- Valid Virginia School Psychologist license.
- Experience in a school setting preferred.
- Comprehensive skills in psychoeducational assessment and report writing.
