Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Graduate degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience with psychoeducational assessments and report writing
  • Knowledge of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students needs
  • Develop recommendations for academic and behavioral interventions
  • Lead or participate in eligibility meetings, IEPs, and other student support conferences
  • Offer consultation and guidance to educators and families on intervention strategies
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling as appropriate
  • Support the implementation of district and building-level programs to promote positive school culture
