This position offers a rewarding opportunity to support student development and well-being as a School Psychologist in a dynamic school setting in Newark, OH. The role focuses on assessing and addressing students' cognitive, emotional, and social needs, collaborating with educators and families to create supportive learning environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) and interventions
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services when needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
- Monitor and report on student progress and adjust strategies accordingly
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development activities
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience with psychological assessments and interpretation of data
- Strong knowledge of educational laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and families
