Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support student success within a school setting located in Newark, NJ. This role involves delivering psychological services to students to improve academic, social, and emotional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans and support strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention as necessary
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support plans
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in accordance with school and legal guidelines
