A school district in Englewood, NJ is seeking a full-time School Psychologist for a maternity leave contract lasting from November 2025 through April 2026. This position requires availability for 37.5 hours per week and is ideal for a professional ready to make an immediate impact in a supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing counseling and intervention services to support student mental health and academic success
- Assisting in crisis response and behavioral support services
- Maintaining accurate records and complying with district policies and legal requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings
- Proficiency in conducting standardized evaluations and interpreting results
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
