Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultative skills
- Familiarity with IEPs, behavioral interventions, and special education processes
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Compassionate, flexible, and committed to supporting diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify student strengths and challenges
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective interventions and supports
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings, offering expertise and recommendations for student accommodations
- Provide individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Assist in crisis intervention and prevention initiatives within the school community
- Support and guide teachers regarding classroom strategies and student engagement
- Help design and facilitate professional development related to mental health and learning differences
