Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid school psychologist certification or license, or eligibility to obtain one
- Masters or specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) or Response to Intervention (RTI)
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes, special education law, and compliance
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills
- Ability to build relationships with students, families, and colleagues
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer cognitive, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments to identify student needs
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students, individually and in groups
- Collaborate on the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans
- Consult with teachers and families to support educational and behavioral strategies
- Serve as a resource in crisis prevention and intervention programs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and data-driven decision making
- Deliver training/suggestions for classroom and school-wide support
