This onsite contract role offers the chance to provide vital assessment, counseling, and consultation services in a dynamic elementary school environment. The position is available immediately and extends through June 2027, providing stability and the opportunity to build strong relationships with students, staff, and families.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Delaware School Psychologist license (required)
• Experience working in school settings providing psychological assessment, crisis intervention, and educational evaluations
• Familiarity with special education processes, IEP development, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with students, staff, and parents/guardians
• Commitment to upholding ethical and legal standards in school psychology
• Willingness to comply with local fingerprinting requirements ($85 CBC fingerprinting fee applies)

Position Responsibilities:

• Deliver psychological evaluations, assessments, and reports for K-5 students, supporting special education eligibility and intervention planning
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to facilitate the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development of students
• Provide individual and group counseling, as well as crisis intervention when needed
• Consult with teachers and staff to develop and implement effective classroom interventions and strategies
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and confidentiality following district and legal guidelines
