This opportunity involves serving as a School Psychologist supporting K-12 students within a dynamic school setting in New York, NY. The position requires flexibility to manage caseloads that may fluctuate based on the varied needs across multiple school locations. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person psychological assessments and contribute relevant findings to support student development.
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to advocate for appropriate educational accommodations.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including educators, counselors, and administrators to design and implement intervention strategies.
- Adapt to a shifting caseload and travel between school sites as needed to provide consistent support.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Ability to manage a diverse K-12 caseload with flexibility and professionalism.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel between school locations as assigned.
