A contract position is available for a School Psychologist to support K-12 students within a dynamic school environment in New York, NY. This role involves providing psychological services across multiple schools, requiring flexibility and collaboration with diverse educational teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person psychological assessments for K-12 students.
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to address student needs.
- Manage a caseload that may vary across different school locations.
- Travel between assigned schools as necessary to support students and staff.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in School Psychology or related field, with appropriate licensure or certification.
- Ability to manage changing caseloads and adapt to shifting school requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to travel between school sites within the New York, NY area.
