Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
  • Active Louisiana (LA) school psychologist license
  • Experience working across elementary, middle, and high school student populations
  • Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention, and behavioral management strategies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive school environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention for students facing social, emotional, or academic concerns
  • Offer consultation and support to educational staff regarding student needs and best practices
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to review data and recommend targeted interventions
  • Promote positive mental health and contribute to a safe, respectful school climate
