Key Qualifications:

  • Valid TN Psychologist License required
  • Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience working within educational settings highly valued
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and counseling skills
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and crisis response abilities
  • Commitment to fostering safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Complete comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to design and implement student support plans
  • Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
  • Offer crisis intervention services and support behavioral management strategies
  • Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in alignment with school and state regulations
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
