Job Description
A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the upcoming school year in a K-12 educational setting located in New Orleans, LA. This onsite contract role offers an opportunity to support student development through psychological services within a dynamic school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students to support their academic and social-emotional needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to develop individualized educational plans and interventions
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Tennessee School Psychologist license (TN PSYCH License) required
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills
- Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize responsibilities effectively
