Make a meaningful impact across a diverse PreK12 student population while working across multiple campuses as a School Psychologist on a full-time, contract basis. In this role, youll be an essential member of multidisciplinary teams, using your expertise to support students educational and mental health needs.
What Youll Do:
- Deliver consultation, counseling, and crisis intervention
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students suspected of having disabilities
- Organize and participate in conferences with parents and guardians
- Provide staff training on student mental health and behavioral strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to create inclusive learning environments
- Participate in district-wide, multi-disciplinary team meetings
- Address a variety of mental health concerns within the school setting
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor
What Were Seeking:
- Active NCDPI School Psychologist license (must provide ACTIVE licensure upon application)
- Demonstrated proficiency in ECATS required
- Previous experience working with PreK12 students in schools preferred
- Strong background in psychoeducational assessments and interventions
- Capacity to work on-site, traveling among various schools as needed (mileage reimbursement is not provided)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and handle sensitive situations
- Commitment to supporting students, families, and educators
This position is scheduled from August 2026 to May 2027, offering a consistent 37.5-hour work week. You will conduct all duties in person, engaging closely with students and staff.
