Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist License
- Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Experience or interest in working with K-12 students
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students referred for assessment
- Interpret assessment results, and share findings with staff and families
- Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to meet student needs
- Participate in case conferences, Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and school-based teams
- Provide counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Foster a positive and supportive environment to promote student success
