Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Current certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting assessments and developing intervention plans in educational settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and students
- Ability to provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services
- Familiarity with IEP processes and special education laws is a plus
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to determine student needs
- Develop and update individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with teaching teams
- Deliver short-term counseling and behavioral interventions to students
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to implement effective strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and recommend supports
- Promote positive behavioral interventions and mental health awareness throughout the school community
- Maintain detailed records in accordance with district and federal guidelines
