Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in School Psychology or related field required
- Current and valid New Hampshire school psychologist licensure
- Experience working in K-12 settings (elementary, middle, and/or high schools preferred)
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Familiarity with special education processes and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently while thriving as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments to evaluate students learning and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective support strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to IEP development
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
- Recommend evidence-based interventions and assist with progress monitoring
- Deliver professional development and consultation for faculty on student mental health and learning differences
- Uphold ethical and legal standards in maintaining student confidentiality and documentation
