This contract position calls for a dedicated professional who is committed to fostering a positive learning environment through psychological services tailored to students' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral strengths and challenges.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to advocate for student well-being.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all applicable educational and legal standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Florida Department of Health (DOH) License, as required by state regulations.
- Experience working in a school environment with diverse student populations.
