Job Description

Embark on a meaningful opportunity working in an elementary school setting as a School Psychologist, where your expertise will support the academic and emotional well-being of students. This onsite, full-time contract position offers a dynamic and rewarding environment. You will collaborate with educators and families to foster student growth, apply evidence-based interventions, and promote a positive school culture for grades K-5. The role is located near Naperville, IL, serving a caseload of approximately 35 to 45 elementary students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois School Psychologist license
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) required
  • Experience in school-based settings or working with elementary-aged children preferred
  • Strong communication, assessment, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and family members

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for referred students
  • Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and case consultation services
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Analyze student data and contribute to evidence-based intervention planning
  • Serve as a liaison between the school, students, and their families to ensure holistic care
  • Support the creation of a safe, inclusive, and supportive school climate
