This onsite position offers two openings for licensed school psychologists to work district-wide, helping to provide crucial psychological services that make a real difference in young lives. With a start date in August and commitment through June, you'll work a steady 35-hour week on a school day schedule, collaborating closely with educators and families.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Indiana
- Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Knowledge of Response to Intervention (RTI), IEP processes, and special education law
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to travel within the district as needed
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to inform student support plans
- Develop and support implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as necessary
- Consult with teachers and parents regarding student learning and behavioral issues
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to evaluate student progress
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state requirements
