Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification and state licensure
- Masters or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments, IEP meetings, and behavior intervention planning
- Strong background in providing crisis intervention and counseling to students
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across diverse teams
- Ability to maintain confidential and comprehensive records
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students cognitive, social, and emotional strengths and challenges
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and families
- Provide direct counseling services and interventions to students individually and in groups
- Advise staff and families on strategies to address learning and behavioral issues
- Support special education eligibility and re-evaluations
- Promote positive behavioral supports and help foster inclusive learning environments
- Participate actively in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning
