Step into a rewarding contract role serving students in a vibrant K-12 educational environment. As a School Psychologist, you'll be making a real difference for students and educators by providing critical support throughout the academic year, August through the end of June.
This full-time, onsite opportunity allows you to work closely with a single school, focusing your skills and expertise to truly influence the lives of students and the broader Special Education (SPED) team. Apply your assessment and evaluation abilities to guide students' academic, social, and emotional development, ensuring every childs unique learning needs are met.
Key Requirements:
- Valid School Psychologist license for the state of Washington
- Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Strong background in conducting assessments and evaluations
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate actively in IEP meetings
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments and evaluations for K-12 students
- Attend and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Consult with teachers, parents, and the SPED team, offering insight and recommendations
- Provide direct support, fostering a positive and inclusive school environment
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
