Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Active and valid state certification or license in School Psychology
- Experience conducting educational and psychological assessments
- Knowledge of Special Education compliance, IEP processes, and Section 504 requirements
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting is preferred, though not required
- Ability to provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services effectively
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to inform IEP teams
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP development, and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and well-being
- Provide individual and group counseling for students
- Support crisis response and participate in child study or problem-solving teams
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
