Key Qualifications:

• Valid TDHH license issued by the state of Pennsylvania
• Proficiency in ASK (American Sign Language) to support communication needs for at least one student
• Experience working with students across a broad age range, from kindergarten through twelfth grade
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills for teamwork with school staff and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to deaf and hard of hearing students ranging from K-12
• Collaborate closely with general and special education teachers to adapt curricula and tailor instructional strategies
• Assess students communication and academic needs, implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) designed for optimal growth
• Assist in transitioning students between grade levels and supporting their success in both academic and social spheres
