Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid and current state licensure or eligibility for school psychologist certification
  • Experience with psychological assessments, behavior intervention planning, and counseling within educational settings
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student learning and wellbeing
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and regulations is preferred
  • Experience supporting diverse student populations is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments to identify students strengths and needs
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention and behavior management plans
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development and review
  • Offer individual and group counseling sessions to support emotional, behavioral, and social growth
  • Provide consultation to teachers, staff, and families regarding learning, behavior, and mental health concerns
  • Assist with crisis intervention and preventive initiatives as needed throughout the school year
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with local and federal regulations
