Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid and current state licensure or eligibility for school psychologist certification
- Experience with psychological assessments, behavior intervention planning, and counseling within educational settings
- Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student learning and wellbeing
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Familiarity with IEP processes and regulations is preferred
- Experience supporting diverse student populations is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments to identify students strengths and needs
- Develop and implement individualized intervention and behavior management plans
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development and review
- Offer individual and group counseling sessions to support emotional, behavioral, and social growth
- Provide consultation to teachers, staff, and families regarding learning, behavior, and mental health concerns
- Assist with crisis intervention and preventive initiatives as needed throughout the school year
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with local and federal regulations
