Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid NY School Psychologist license (required)
  • Experience working with children in elementary and/or middle school settings
  • Strong understanding of psychological assessment, intervention, and counseling techniques
  • Ability to travel among 12 district sites as needed (itinerant role)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to supporting diverse learners and collaborating with staff and families

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment data
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective interventions
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and support creation of student plans
  • Provide direct counseling services and crisis intervention to students as necessary
  • Support the social-emotional development and academic achievement of assigned caseload
  • Travel to assigned elementary and middle school sites within the district

Compensation for this position ranges from $38.50 to $76.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
