Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
- Previous experience in K-12 school settings preferred
- In-depth understanding of behavioral and academic assessment tools
- Strong communication, collaboration, and consultation skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective intervention plans for individuals and groups
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results for multidisciplinary teams
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students academic and emotional well-being
- Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide crisis intervention services as needed
- Lead or participate in professional development and student support meetings
- Support data-driven decision-making and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
