Contribute your expertise as a School Psychologist working with students in a supportive educational setting. In this contract role, youll be responsible for delivering essential psychological services to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Collaborate with staff and families to develop strategies that maximize learning potential and create a positive school environment.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid licensure or eligibility to practice as a School Psychologist in the state
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, though new graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong understanding of assessment tools, IEP processes, and behavioral intervention techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to changing needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments, interpret results, and provide recommendations for students educational planning
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Deliver individual and group counseling sessions to support mental health and social-emotional growth
- Consult with educators and families regarding academic and behavioral interventions
- Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards
