Desired Qualifications:
- Current Texas LSSP license and appropriate school credentials required
- Bilingual communication skills
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is beneficial
- Recent graduates encouraged to applymentorship and support available
- Strong interpersonal and assessment skills
- Commitment to ethical, student-centered practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform psychoeducational assessments and provide recommendations to support students educational growth
- Deliver counseling services and participate in the development of IEPs and intervention plans
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with all relevant federal, state, and local policies
- Support a positive school climate, promoting academic and personal development
