Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Kansas School Psychologist license is required
- Openness to new graduates; all levels of experience considered
- Prior experience with Kansas school systems (preferred but not mandatory)
- Ability to work with students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments, evaluations, and testing for students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and indirect services to support student learning and well-being
- Offer crisis intervention and consultation as needed for individual or groups of students
- Document all activities and maintain accurate student records in compliance with state and district guidelines
