Make a difference in the lives of young learners as a contract School Psychologist, supporting Pre-K students as they navigate the transition into a school environment. This onsite role centers around direct work with a special needs and abilities preschool program, focusing on behavioral intervention and school readiness.

Key Qualifications:

• Indiana certification/licensure as a School Psychologist is required
• Previous experience working with Pre-K or early childhood populations preferred
• Familiarity with behavioral intervention strategies and progress monitoring
• Strong collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams (including Psych, OT, PT, SLP, Autism Consultant, and nurse)
• Effective communication skills for engaging with teachers, caregivers, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Implement the First Step Transition program for Pre-K students, delivering evidence-based behavioral coaching and direct intervention
• Engage in teacher consultation, classroom support, and progress monitoring to track student development and program success
• Collaborate with families to foster positive school readiness and address social-emotional needs
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations as part of a multidisciplinary team, assisting with two-day testing and assessment events for preschoolers and their families
• Support transition services and behavioral interventions for a caseload of approximately 70 Pre-K students
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to team meetings focused on student success
• Onsite presence required, with a standard schedule of 35 hours per week (some additional time may be needed)
