Job Description

A contract position is available for a School Psychologist serving both elementary and high school students in Minneapolis, MN. This role focuses on supporting student mental health and learning needs through assessment, intervention, and consultation within the school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate student learning, behavior, and emotional functioning.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to promote academic and social success.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain accurate documentation.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with elementary and high school populations.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological testing, behavior management, and educational regulations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a contract capacity within the school environment.
