Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in School Psychology or closely related field required
- Active and current Minnesota School Psychologist licensure
- Previous experience working with diverse student populations across elementary, middle, or high school preferred
- Knowledge of special education laws, psychoeducational assessments, and intervention strategies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments to identify student strengths and areas of need
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and support plans
- Facilitate small group and individual counseling to address emotional, behavioral, and social challenges
- Participate in response-to-intervention processes and support data-driven decision-making
- Provide crisis intervention, consultation, and resources as needed throughout the school community
- Advocate for student well-being and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
