Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist
- Background in conducting assessments, developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and delivering counseling services
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks is a plus
- Experience working in educational settings, preferably K-12
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and review IEPs and Section 504 plans
- Provide individual and group counseling for students to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Work closely with families and teachers, offering strategies and interventions that promote student learning and well-being
- Support crisis intervention and preventative mental health programs within the school community
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices
