Job Description

A school psychologist position is available on a contract basis in Minneapolis, MN. This role involves providing psychological services to support students academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development within the school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students to identify learning needs and challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Offer counseling and intervention services to support student well-being.
  • Provide crisis intervention and consultation services when needed.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust support plans accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with school policies and relevant regulations.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting.
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff.
  • Knowledge of special education laws and best practices.
